It’s a Monstah!
- BIG Apologies goes out to Mr. Jesse Jalbert for not posting this sooner!
At 23lbs and 43 inches, so far this is the largest Muskie I’ve seen taken from the Saint John River this year. Reports from various fishermen indicate that the month of June has been fairly slow on the Muskie Fishing front. I’ve heard of several smaller fish in the range of 30 inches, but nothing close to this monster. Steady trout and salmon fishing has kept me out of the Muskie hunt this month, but I hope to be throwing flies for those toothy water wolves again soon.
Big props to Jesse on a great catch!
-Ben
